About PreTaskIQ

Built because the gap was real.

PreTaskIQ started with a simple observation: the most dangerous moment on a construction job is the one right before work begins — when the hazard analysis gets filled out alone, the briefing gets rushed, and the crew signs without really hearing it. We built Petey to close that gap.

Our mission

PreTaskIQ exists to turn every day's work into a safer version of the next one — replacing static paperwork with a real conversation, grounded in what an organization has already learned, so no crew starts from zero and no lesson gets lost.

Where we are

Patent pending

The core PreTaskIQ method — conversational, knowledge-grounded pre-task hazard analysis — is patent pending.

Early stage

We are an early-stage product working with our first design partners in the field. The platform is being built in close collaboration with the crews and safety leaders who will use it.

Built for utility and electrical construction

Our initial focus is directional drilling, aerial fiber installation, and confined-space work — high-risk scopes where pre-task planning matters most and where the current process leaves the most room for error.

Become a design partner

We are actively looking for construction organizations who want to help shape PreTaskIQ from the ground up. Design partners get early access to the platform, direct input into the product roadmap, and a seat at the table as we build something the industry has never had before.

What design partners get

Early platform access

Use PreTaskIQ in the field before general availability.

Direct product input

Your crews' real-world feedback shapes every feature we build.

Knowledge base setup

We work with your safety team to load your policies, procedures, and incident history into the platform.

Founding partner recognition

Design partners are recognized as founding contributors to the platform.

Who we're looking for: We are looking for utility and electrical construction contractors — particularly those doing directional drilling, aerial fiber, or confined-space work — who take pre-task planning seriously and want a better tool for it.
